During August 2015 former Toronto Maple Leafs, Detroit Red Wings and Boston Bruins hockey player Gary Aldcorn who grew up in Shaunavon and was the first local to player in the NHL stopped in for a visit at Overtime. He had 97 points in 226 Regular Season NHL Games to go with another 3 in 6 NHL Playoffs games during his NHL career from 1956-61. Gary Alcorn’s Career Stats at hockeydb.com.
